S.T. Hudson's Son Plumbing & Heating

Heating & Cooling Service Policy
At S. T. Hudson's we are committed to helping our customers keep their heating and cooling systems operating safely, efficiently and reliably year-round. Since HVAC systems work hardest during peak season demand, we strongly recommend annual maintenance to ensure optimal performance and help prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Heating Systems
We recommend servicing heating systems annually in late September through early October to prepare for the winter season.
Cooling Systems
We recommend servicing central air and mini-split systems annually in late May through early June to prepare for warmer weather.
For cooling system service, outdoor temperatures should ideally be 70°F or higher, as refrigerant testing and charging are more accurate in warmer conditions.
Emergency Service &
Priority Scheduling
Customers who maintain annual service with us receive priority scheduling during peak heating and cooling seasons.
If your heating or cooling equipment has not been serviced annually by us, emergency service may not be available. In these cases, service calls will be scheduled based on the next available appointment.
Routine maintenance helps reduce system failures and ensure faster service when unexpected issues arise.
Why Annual Maintenance Matters
Your heating and cooling systems are major investments and work hard throughout the year, often during the most demanding weather conditions.
Just like routine maintenance for your vehicle, regular HVAC service helps:
-
Improve efficiency
-
Extend equipment repairs
-
Improve reliability during peak seasons
Keeping your system maintained helps protect your comfort and your investment.
